Ontario’s Conservative government introduced a new Bill (Bill 27 – Working for Workers Act) which is currently in Committee. The Bill introduces new protections for workers that fall far short of what is needed; as well as introduces potentially harmful changes. We joined with Workers Action Centre and Parkdale Community Legal Services to make the following submissions.
